Good Practice in the Use of Video Conferencing. This is a very good artical, I will use the check list they have as an example for my teachers. I would however not just practice with the students if they are presenting but practice just for the conference. I did several last year and the student need the practice.
When Good Technology Goes Bad this artical brings up many good points to remember about video conferencing. The bigest thing is Practice, Practice, Practice do not wait until the last minute to test your system, your internet connection, or your bridge if you need one. For a lot of places the conference must be paid for and the people who run it must find where the money will come from El Paso does not have this problem we each have our own video equipment and outside internet connection.
