Fingertip learning

The article touched on many of the things that involve becoming a 21st century school.  We definitely live in a right now society where we can pretty much access any information at a moments notice.  Some good, some bad.  I can totally relate to the phone number scenario, because I have only committed about 2 phone numbers to memory and would be lost without my cell phone.

I have taken numerous on line courses and enjoyed them mainly because of the ability to access information at all times of the day and not being committed to a definite time to be in one location.  However, I don’t think society (American) is ready for being able to choose the lecture or topic for the day and benefit from the learning.  It is an awesome idea thought.
